Fragility and peacebuilding

The World Bank (WB) and other Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), the UN and the DAC donors, including Switzerland have committed to enhance their engagement in Fragile and Conflict Affected Countries (FCCs).
A better coordination of the multilateral system, a more efficient partnership between the UN and the MDBs or improved work modalities of agencies in FCS are the main challenges.
SDC's core contribution and multi-bilateral projects provide c comprehensive set of entry points for a sustained dialogue with partners on this agenda. With the UN and the WB, the UN & MDB section focuses on the improvement of coordination and partnership on conflict prevention and peacebuilding.
